its your 2wire modem/router combo!
I had a 2wire that did that too, soon as I switched routers the problem was fixed.
It was not just with downloading here.
If I had say 10 tabs in Firebox, that were to open up when I opened up my browser for the day. With my 2wire hooked up about 4 - 5 of the tabs would time out loading. With another router, they all loaded fine!
you can try to set your 2wire into a bridge device and hook it through your own router. there are steps someone outlined in post here.. don't know the link off hand. i'm sure someone else will post it!
Or you can buy your own modem/router and plug in your b1 user id and password in there.
Just don't try to phone Bell for tech support with your own modem, THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU! re-hook the 2wire first.
