If the temperature is so cold, that propane is liquid, how come we can still here gaseous propane escaping the tank?
And why is the propane so much colder than ambient temperature when first poured out?
The tank is not at 0 PSI, and atmosphere is close to but higher than boiling. When the propane gas/liquid escapes it depressurizes and falls a couple degrees, enough to remain a liquid in the jar.
