 | reply to rich Register and post in the Direct forum, the service is better |
 | reply to anon_bell If I have time will call them this week, when I had fibe 25/10 was getting always close to the the 25 down and 6 or 7 up. Now with 50/10 getting the 50 down but lucky if I ever get close to 2 up. |

 | reply to anon_bell Just checked Bell web page now they changed the info, $49.95 only good for the first 6 months then $82.95 in a bundle.Guess they had too many takers on original offer. |
 | reply to BliZZardX That's the deal they offered me that the $33 is ongoing as long as I maintain all my services.Even phoned back to verify again and same info, also got the girls ID number as backup.Like I stated before nothing is stopping them from raising the base 50/10 rate in the future to re-coop their money. |
 | reply to Mont The monthly 1 time was for the services they removed only. The $33 credit is ongoing as long as I keep all my services with them. I didn't post all the confirmation e-mail because it contained personal info. |

1 edit | reply to rich So separate from the $10 unlimited bandwidth add-on with 3 services, if you have 4 services with Bell they are offering $33 ongoing credit on Fibe 50? I have 2 services (Wireless and Internet), when I checked the best they offered was $5 for 12 months. |

 | reply to anon_bell I had DSL 50/10 on our home line and Fibe TV on a Dry Loop. Was told I could switch to 50/10 on Fibe TV and so the DSL was shut down and now I am being told 50/10 is in testing. It's a bit of a mess given that my Fibe TV speed has gone to 20/2 or less and they want to put me on a 25/10 profile. I wouldn't mind a 45/10 or even a 40/10 and I understand that watching TV will slow things down. Am getting conflicting answers from different people. Not sure what to do. Bell has been great up until now. Should have kept the DSL and TV internet separate but the 2 modems were taking up space! Much neater now if it would only work!

 | reply to rich My previous post Yes I know $86.95 minus $33.00 = $53.95 and not the 49.95 what the promo say's but she couldn't over ride the price so knock off the 4 bucks difference on 1 of my other services. |

| reply to anon_bell I just went to "The Source" to look for a pair of headphones and got to talking to the Bell guy there. He told me if I have all 3 services with Bell...like phone, TV and internet I could apply for unlimited bandwidth for $10 per month. I was already paying $15 for 120 Gig extra per month so this is a "no brainer" situation. I just called and asked for it...got it. Now I am looking at "Netflix". -- My Canada includes Quebec. Disclaimer: If I express an opinion, it is my own opinion, not that of Bell or its related companies. |

 | reply to kibosh Have to remember Bell is telling me that I'll get the 33 dollar credit per month with the 3 services but I guess nothing is stopping them from raising their base rate from 82.95 to let say 92.95 next year so they still get the extra 10 bucks. 2 ways to skin a cat with Bell. |

kibosh join:2010-12-16 Whitby, ON | reply to rich Really? That would be fantastic. I guess we'll all find out when we get our first bills.
I suppose this makes sense since I believe that the FTTH 50/50 was already 49.99 for customers with 3 services as well. |
 | reply to morisato Mine is ongoing and not for 6 months with the confirmation e-mail they sent me.But will loose the $33 monthly credit promo if I drop 1 of my services which are Satellite, home phone, cell and was fibe 25/10.By upgrading to 50/10 my monthly internet plan + unlimited drops $16 a month plus taxes.lol |
 | reply to Rich for the first 6 months? aka what the promo says? |
 | reply to kibosh Was on 25/10 and went to 50/10 this morning + 10 bucks for unlimited because I have 3 services. So for existing customer it's $82.95 minus a ongoing credit of 33 dollars for the $49.95 as long as you maintain all your services with them. |
 | reply to Guspaz You can't pay for both - the system on bells end only allow them to select 1 usage add-on (this according to the tech rep). |
 | reply to hlo207 Mine was set and available online about an hour after I called. It clearly states "unlimited" on my Bell page. |

hlo207 join:2012-11-16 North York, ON | reply to jckelchl Ordered mine via online chat on Monday afternoon, online account is still showing old limit 24 hours later. Online chat with Bell again and they assure me that it is in my plan. But due to the overwhelming response they have for the unlimited bandwidth, it will be 3-4 days before the online account is updated. I was told by the chat agent that I will not be charged for going over the limit. I had both chats emailed to me for the record.
With the limit fast approaching I went the Direct Support forum to ask there. Bell_Darryl assured my account is set to unlimited bandwidth on their system and he has confirmed that with his colleague who deals with these things. I even have the case number for that investigation. Again there is a system issue that is preventing the online account access to update properly. I was told the extra usage charge will not appear in my bill. If they show up, I can message Bell_Darryl and he will credit/fix it for me.
I don't have Bell TV so I have to pay $30. Not an issue since all of us at home can download all we want and never have to worry. |
