Re: FTTN 25/10 and 50/10 with Fibe TV + Unlimited Bandwidth said by bellemployee :Great promo right now. Unlimited bandwidth for 10$ a month, compatible with all offers and with existing clients. This is in a bundle, $30 otherwise I was told.
Before they had about 11mbps reserved for FibeTV so your Internet does not slow down when watching two or less HD streams. Any idea what this is now when you get the 50/10? The rep did not know. |

 | reply to sunnyd71 single pair. |

 | reply to anon_bell Are they still doing this over a single pair or bonding two? A tech told me a few weeks ago they would be using bonding for 50mbps.
Are they going to offer more streams on fibe tv now? I hope so. |

Could this be in preparation for the increases? Well you don't really need 17a for 50mbps... Maybe it benefits more for people that are further away. |

| reply to anon_bell Well im hoping Monday will have some updated info in the Bell system. They offer 50/50 for $49.99 ongoing to customers as long as they have 3 services with Bell, so im assuming they will offer 50/10 as well. If thats the case I may cancel my start.ca install. |

 | reply to coaxguy Coaxguy,
50/10 will be available on standalone Internet... 50/10 will also be available on fibe tv but on 7330 only. As Kovy pointed out need 17a to deliver the 65mb required for tv 50. |

Tested at the modem jack at the panel where I have my modem mounted. But these are not stats directly from the modem, that's for sure. My best friend is a Bell tech who did the copper grooming in this area, and did my Fibe 25 hookup, so im 100% positive im on a 7330 slam. He was under the impression 50/10 was already rolling out. The only 50/10 rolling are people who are in test phase. And I've never seen a attainable rate of 170/70... Ahh, I was wrong, my max is 148/37 [att=1] Ill see whats up monday.
