even for FTTH, they reduce upload to 10 now except for 175 Mbps ?! can anyone confirm this? Not true. FTTH speeds are not changing |
 | After speaking with the rep last night they "upgraded" me to the unlimited plan for 10$/month. My speed won't change so I'm staying with FIBE 50/50 (FTTH) but after speaking with the rep, it is not a "true" unlimited plan. From what I understood, they upgraded my limit from 250GB a month to 1000 GB a month. It is still good but if someone goes over 1TB of download/upload in a month, I'd be curious to know what would happen. |

 | ^ Also not true. There's no cap. It's unlimited. |

zed173 join:2010-07-17 Mississauga, ON | I called in and replaced the 15/10 I had with FibeTV for 25/10 Unlimited for FibeTV. Unfortunately it seems it won't get changed until the 31st for some reason. Either way, happy to have the speed increase and unlimited usage now. |

 | reply to Bellmtl said by Bellmtl:^ Also not true. There's no cap. It's unlimited. I can't say it is not true as the rep told me he was adjusting my cap to 1000GB. That being said 1000GB may mean unlimited in Bell's system. Just telling you what the rep told me. |

donl join:2010-04-23 Brampton, ON | Before I got unlimited, Bell gave me 125GB extra at no charge so when I got unlimited I guess since I am not paying anything for it they left it there. I did confirmed with the rep that my bill will be $10 extra with the unlimited. |

hlo207 join:2012-11-16 North York, ON | reply to jckelchl Ordered mine via online chat on Monday afternoon, online account is still showing old limit 24 hours later. Online chat with Bell again and they assure me that it is in my plan. But due to the overwhelming response they have for the unlimited bandwidth, it will be 3-4 days before the online account is updated. I was told by the chat agent that I will not be charged for going over the limit. I had both chats emailed to me for the record.
With the limit fast approaching I went the Direct Support forum to ask there. Bell_Darryl assured my account is set to unlimited bandwidth on their system and he has confirmed that with his colleague who deals with these things. I even have the case number for that investigation. Again there is a system issue that is preventing the online account access to update properly. I was told the extra usage charge will not appear in my bill. If they show up, I can message Bell_Darryl and he will credit/fix it for me.
I don't have Bell TV so I have to pay $30. Not an issue since all of us at home can download all we want and never have to worry. |
 | Mine was set and available online about an hour after I called. It clearly states "unlimited" on my Bell page. |
 | reply to Guspaz You can't pay for both - the system on bells end only allow them to select 1 usage add-on (this according to the tech rep). |
 | reply to kibosh Was on 25/10 and went to 50/10 this morning + 10 bucks for unlimited because I have 3 services. So for existing customer it's $82.95 minus a ongoing credit of 33 dollars for the $49.95 as long as you maintain all your services with them. |
 | for the first 6 months? aka what the promo says? |
 | Mine is ongoing and not for 6 months with the confirmation e-mail they sent me.But will loose the $33 monthly credit promo if I drop 1 of my services which are Satellite, home phone, cell and was fibe 25/10.By upgrading to 50/10 my monthly internet plan + unlimited drops $16 a month plus taxes.lol |
