It was fine the next day and all the way till today where it has acted up again. It was not turned off at anytime in between.
I don't know why restarting the router would temporarily fix it but it does. after half hour of a wired xbox 360 being played, and a wireless toshiba qosmio the stats drop to this
550 ping, .55mb download speed, less then .1mb upload.
logging into the router from the computer and restarting the router fixes speed.
