| EA4500 connection issue with fiber modem Hi Guys,
i got a EA4500 with "smart wifi ui" Firmware FW_EA4500_2.1.39.145204.SSA
and a FTTH line 100/50. (99.99% no issue)
i want to connect my EA4500 with my fibermodem but nothing work.
Anyone got a advice for me? |

Atm my network : pc ethernet cable-> ea4500-> modem(fritzbox)-> spillter.
Fiber Modem is from Telekom Germany |

Can you access the router? Are you running windows? Can you go to a command prompt and run ipconfig and post your ip and gateway? |

A couple items. You have the modem connected to the router via the Internet port, correct? Did you set up the 2 virtual machines? If so, why? |

May be a dumb question, but how are you posting? Also, can you connect directly to the modem and successfully get on the net?
Is there any login info you should be putting into the router? |

If you can't connect PC -> Modem then your modem or service is the issue. What is the purpose of the splitter? The Linksys is not the problem now. You need to connect successfully connected directly first. |

i cant connected directly. my provider doesnt support it...
But the line got not issue.
I test it with a speedport router from my provider and everything works fine.
So its a issue with my ea4500 settings? or he cant handle it? |
