FiOS packet loss and unstable speeds

For the past 3 days I have had unstable speeds and when I ping google.com I get 25% packet loss.

I've reset my router and everything I could think of. Any suggestions before sending out a Tech?

Try rebooting your ONT. If that doesn't help, call in a trouble ticket.

Rebooted the ONT, still no improvement.

Also VOD shows skip and voice in not in sync.

Ticket it is?

Thanks

Reset the ONT, no improvement. VOD shows run like crap and voice in not in sync.

Also this error comes up on the TV. ""the set top box lost video dut to a network connection failure. VOD_191""

Any other test I could run to help diagnose this issue?

Any chance this is caused with a setting in the router? I've hard rebooted this router, a few times, though. So I'm assuming all setting are default?

One thing to try is power off the ont , pull the battery and power down the router for the night. Tomorrow power it all up and hopefully you will get a new IP. I once got an IP the was getting DOS'ed and the traffic was hosing the router and chewing up bandwidth, I did the above and problems went away ( you can look at your routers log to see if your WAN is getting hammered )

Wouldn't releasing the lease before rebooting the router do the same thing without the overnight downtime?

I've released my lease and received a new IP. Same issues.

I spoke with FiOS support and they told me they we're having intermittent issues and would be fixed in 4 hours. My ticket says commitment time 4AM EST.

What could they possibly do to fix this in 4 hours on their end?
