Woz already commented from the clip recently released that Kutcher is playing it all wrong; the wardrobe is wrong too.

If I was making a movie like that, the first person I would talk about about these details would be Woz given he was there for those conversations.

See. All first new Apple releases suck.

Second revision is better.

They could have had a much better cast. Potential ruined.

Bummer they didn't ask Noah Wyle to reprise the role.

Kutcher isn't an actor. In every role he is the same guy. He more like a news anchor that reads a teleprompter.

Facts make boring movies, movies are for entertainment. Documentaries are for facts, and usually are boring.

Except this story is compelling without having to sensationalize it.

Only to "fan" and geeks, not everyone else.

Kutcher maybe able to put asses in the seats VS someone who looks more like Jobs.

Kinda like How Cruise was paid to play the role of a 6'5" 250 pound man, in the movie Reacher. Sure they could have used the Rock, but they may have felt Cruise has more draw power.

I won't pay to see a movie about Apple, nor would I about Microsoft.
I'd rather watch a movie about how the discovery/research that led to the making of vacuum tubes and transistors. To me that would be more interesting.
Anyone that has an eye for art can design good looking hardware. As long as he listens to the input from the engineers that have to make the "pleasing" design to hold the electronics.

But to be they guy that could take two compounds and combine them so they form a transistor, then reduce them them so you could fit millions on a small package, now that's interesting.
But then again, I don't see how compelling a story about the start of the modern electronic components would be to anyone that wasn't into the actual soldering/repairing of the devices.

The name "Jobs" will put asses in the seats just as it sold books.

If anything, the name Kutcher just makes it appear campy.

That's the sad part. That a movie like that would get people to watch it.

I wonder if they will camp out for days before the movie is released?

But then again, why would they go to a theater, after all the theater isn't using Iscreens or Iprojectors, nor do they employee Apple geniuses.

Given the amount of Jobs idolization out there they could probably have Bernie Madoff play the lead and still have people camped out to see it.

I for one will give it a miss.

You gotta be kidding. Kutcher can't act worth a damn. They should've gone with Tom Cruise, since he looks more like Jobs.

He at least can act decently..

Cruise charges more money per movie than the budget ($8.5M) for this movie x5.
Also, he wouldn't lose the weight required to look the part. You needed a shitty actor willing to go on a diet to look the part.
They could have chosen a less shitty actor though. Kutcher is horrible.

I won't be watching this movie unless it comes on netflix. Will definitely watch the Aaron Sorkin one though.
