There is more than the Internet to worry about with electronic surveillance.
Oppression of the blacks in the past, or religious wars, has nothing on the direction of the future if we keep on the present path.
The Internet is a voice, if it is lost, we all lose.
Bit off topic I know, but we have to try and keep this planet, otherwise the rich will move on when it is destroyed and we will be left with the end result.
There were rumors at Obama's rise it was timely after the neglect of New Orleans, 9-11 etc, all very sensitive stuff and near to our hearts. There are those that think Anon is a bad force etc too.
As a planet of people we need to stand and be counted or lost to the powers that reign behind closed doors eroding our futures for the will of their own.
I just hope they have their facts right for all our sake though.
Because the policing put in place to help close doors will ultimately make it harder to see the real truths behind the powers that control the world of staged TV shows and news.

In anger over the recent death of an Internet activist who faced federal charges, hackers claiming to be from the group "Anonymous" threatened early Saturday to release sensitive information about the U.S. Department of Justice.
They claimed to have one such file on multiple servers ready for immediate release.
The hackers have apparently taken over the website of the U.S. government agency responsible for federal sentencing guidelines, where they posted a message demanding the United States reform its justice system or face incriminating leaks to select news outlets.
The lengthy, eloquently written letter was signed "-Anonymous." |

Way too late in the game for any agency to be able to shut anything down. They can shut themselves off but that is about it. They have no control over anything on or the internet itself so I just don't see how we would lose the internet over anything like this as they just don't even have a say so about it (Pirate Bay anyone?). The only thing the guberment can do now is just make empty threats and look extremely foolish doing so.
The guberment has had a multitude of opportunities to get their shit in order and decided to not pay attention to history. Now we have history repeating itself in digital form with modern day rebels reminding them that this is not "I the guberment" that is actually in control of the country (and the internet).
The guberment has people like you fooled into thinking there is something they can do while you live in that false fear of losing your digital toys which, there is nothing they can do about that either. They sure as hell got you fooled into believing that they can huh? (Hey look, another repeat of history!)
I myself will take the legal routes into getting my voice heard however, I am pleased to see that someone out there is willing to stand up and help us out while the rest of you just whine about the guberment while doing nothing about it.

If the three-letter agencies are only half as capable at swallowing the digital ocean as many tinfoil-hatters suspect, and if Anonymous turns out to be only half as skilled as they pretend to be, there's a predictable train-wreck coming for many of those hiding behind the Guy Fawkes masks. True, let's not hope that anyone dragged into the net, innocent or guilty do not get locked down at the 'bay for terrorism.......oh, that is a law and perfectly legit now, where before it wasn't. Mandates change quite often of late because people voted for a party. The parties should then ask if we as voters are happy with certain rules they want in place or want changing.
....Just saying.....
I do think if it is Anon at the heart of this, then they, you would you assume have good reason and proof. Aaron doesn't sound like a man who would hang himself; love of life and those around him helped him in a path of helping others who not allow this to enter his mindset....
