| [Other] Email Server Connection Problems If you have had problems connecting to Frontier's email servers the last few days they have disabled SSL encryption. You have to change back to unsecured email ports 110 for pop3 and 25 for smtp, and unselect ssl connections. I hope this saves someone else the hassle of figuring this out. P.S. frontier is having yahoo take over email service and they have a history of having people's email hacked quite often. Take this latest action as a warning and if you have sensitive info being email sign up for a good web-based email service with secure connections. I personally use Gmail. |
