I just bought this phone on Wednesday, so I might not be the best judge yet, but so far, I've not had the problem you describe.

And I hope I didn't just jinx myself.

The problem is sporadic. It did this three times in the hour after I posted the original message, and then not again since then, as of this time. I was on the phone for 4 hours this morning and no problem. Yesterday, it shut off BT in the middle of a call and I could not hear the other person.

Just an update, the phone hasn't shut off any of its radios since that last post. However, as usual, I find the phone in a different state when I unlock it, than when I locked it. It seems that locking the phone doesn't really prevent touch screen activity, as I find half-started text messages with random characters, as if a toddler were randomly hitting keys. Today, when I locked it and put it in my pocket, I heard it start dialing a few moments later. The phone acts like it's possessed.

Is it possible for you to exchange the phone? Sounds like you may have got a glitchy one.

It was a Christmas present from my wife. I think she bought it from Boost Mobile's web site.

So far in the past 24 hours, BT disconnected once, right at the moment of an incoming call. And the phone went on mute, so the caller could not hear me either.

Call Boost and see what your options are. You may be able to exchange it where Boost service/phones are sold. I bought mine in Best Buy. Or, they may send you a new phone. It doesn't hurt to call and find out. But do it soon, while it's still new.

I guess it can't hurt. Phone goes through periods of good behavior, causing me to put it off again though.
