No VPN service that clocks faster than 30mbps in speedtests?

In the last 1.5 weeks, Ive tested over 6 different VPN services (PPTP/L2TP), when I test them on ANY speed test site from ANY server location, they all max out at 30mbps up or down; including "real life" compressed binary file download speed. Without VPN, I can get up to 120mbps speed from Comcast.

Im guessing most people dont notice this speed limit since they are paying more closer attention to latency (or when artificially forcing speed to go higher with multiple socket connections (i.e., with Usenet downloads).

Are there any VPN's in California that reserve >120mbps for each user?

I really wish IPVanish offered >30mbps connections. They have ridiculously low latency on their network.

I would be equally as happy with a private https proxy service that offers >120mbps speed from their proxies in California; preferably San Francisco or San Jose.
