Photoshop

Is it ok to have different versions of Photoshop? IE: PS5 and PS6 on the same Mac? My Daughter is attending classes at The Art Institute in Atlanta. Two different locations, two different versions of Photoshop. I am giving her my 2010 iMac which has PS5 installed. I have purchased PS6. Will there be any conflicts?
