Re: FTTN 25/10 and 50/10 with Fibe TV + Unlimited Bandwidth Called in, could not get the promo price of 49.99. The best they could do was $79.99
They also discounted the POTS basic line $5, discounted my satellite $30 and added the $10 unlimited bandwidth. So all in all, it makes the jump to 50/10 $54.99 a month for the service and bandwidth taking into account the discounts.
Thanks to a off duty tech on here, my profile was already changed and this is what im getting...

Try that, if he is unavailable, PM me and I will see if my buddy who is a field tech can find a minute to do it. |

Also, I got the unlimited with the 25/10. |

For $79.99 I can get 100/100 unmetered where I'm moving in a few years including tax, so pass. -- Fiber Optics are the future of high-speed internet access. Stop by the BBR »Fiber Optic Forum. |

 | The rules for add-ons like data buckets/unlimited are different. Existing customer's are not eligible for promos on the base plans. I'm not saying it can't change, this is just how it's been for awhile. |

 | reply to deadtorights Not true.
50/10 = FTTN 50/50 = FTTH |
|
 | reply to kovy So if you live in an older house, you are SOL to get fibre to your home? |
|
 | I believe they are bringing FTTH to old houses around Quebec City and Montreal. I haven't seen or heard anything for the Toronto area. |

| reply to Poser said by Poser:So if you live in an older house, you are SOL to get fibre to your home? It has nothing to do with the age of the home, FTTH will eventually be everywhere. Its currently only being deployed in newer sub divisions, and high density areas of Quebec and Toronto. |

 | reply to deadtorights said by deadtorights:even for FTTH, they reduce upload to 10 now except for 175 Mbps ?! can anyone confirm this? Fiber-to-the-HOME is no longer 50/50 ? |
|
 | Bellmtl said it's not true, they are keeping symmetrical speeds on fiber |
