Rate increases-any luck getting them lowered in Philly area

Got nailed with a $20 a month increase for the second year in a row. Anybody have any luck calling and getting RCN to lower it at all? Getting to the point where I have to seriously consider going the Verizon route.

I hear you. I've had a $40 increase in the past twelve months. I'm still working with RCN on mine, so don't jump ship just yet.
