This is exactly why I left Shaw. Even though I was informed on the bill, the rates increased every couple of months (or so it seemed). I've noticed again since I left that they have increased yet again. Long distance is increasing from 4 cents per minute to 5? This is typical Shaw. Oh and they now charge for service moves as well. $30 to keep their service when you move.
I'm glad I left, even if TELUS Optik has a horrible PQ. I'm much happier with the level of service and support - 3 year contract pricing without the contract.
I get it that every company has a little bit of evil, but Shaw seems to have upped the ante in the last year. Nickel-and-diming every chance they get. (they have to pay for that atrocious new logo somehow)
