How old is your computer? What's the specs? Older computers will sometimes not be able to hit the proper bandwidth due to hardware limitations

OP here -- registered account.

I get same speeds on either wired or wireless. The test from earlier was on wireless, but i'll post another from wired.

I don't think hardware is the issue

Alienware M17x
16 GB RAM
core i7 quad core @ 2.6 ghz -> 3.6 ghz
ATI Radeon 7970m video card

Hmm, well your hardware is good, just to do the process of elimination do you have another computer to test with?

Wired or Wireless. No difference.

Machine specs
Alienware M17x
16 GB Ram
i7 quad core processor 2.6 ghz -- turboboost to 3.6
SSD Boot Drive

I don't think hardware is my problem.

Gary to the rescue! Cool you found his issue. Let me ask you, when it's persisting packet loss, what is some of the most common things that causes it?

Makes it easy when its doing it while you're looking at it This is less common than other things and also the hardest to pin down sometimes as you well know.

That's a pretty nice computer.

I'm sure BHNtech would have noticed this, but make sure your modem is docsis 3.

I agree with GeNomer Have BHN give you a DOCSIS 3 Cable Modem , you will get greater speeds and performance, and will be already setup for when you decide to upgrade to Lightning with a simple phone call.
