Re: Typical Customer Data Usage Typical usage: Lots of gaming, youtube streaming / smart tv youtube streaming (albeit lately it's been absolutely horrible trying to watch anything on youtube... buffer buffer buffer), netflix & Hulu, skype, & steam downloads.

You have huge skews in both directions (Never use it and people who constantly torrent), but for such a vague term as "average user" I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't 5-10 GB a month, if not less.
My average is roughly 2GB per day on this PC alone. That's simply youtube, gaming, skype, etc. Not including any updates on steam, other games, or the rest of the house hold. |
