| Profilecnt.exe error msg - D-Link DWA-131 Wireless N USB After installing D-Link DWA-131 Wireless N USB Adapter, the message "ProfileCnt.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" appears upon PC startup. The file profilecnt.exe is located in the D-Link folder and was part of the install process. Using Dell PC with Windows XP Professional SP3. Why does the error message appear and how do you correct it?
Thank you for any help - I have contacted D-Link support and they said it was not a D-Link problem but Dell support says that it is.

| Did you install using the drivers on the CD or from the web? Usually drivers from the web are preferred.
Did you disable any 3rd party security SW while installing the drivers?
