| 1. Make sure tv is ON
2. Make sure power to box is OFF
3. Press select/ok on center of remote to bring up diagnostics |

| I have 2 Motorola pvr's and 1 has a bad hard drive and i have a couple questions:
a) can I take the hard drive out of one and install it in the other ?
b) after the transition and the pvr is hooked up to Cogeco and communicating with the transplanted hard drive. Will it show serial # of first unit or existing unit

| PVR drives are bonded to a specific unit. You can swap the drive, but it will be formatted when the new box boots up (so recordings would be lost) |

No, the drives are encrypted and cannot be read outside the PVR |
