I started with a 386 intel system and didn't even get internet until AOL around the age of....14 and whatever modem was out back then (I believe the step down from 56k). That was only....16 years ago.
I stepped out of the IRC world fully around a year ago, given it had been a few years before that since I really did anything more than share a few words a week. It just died out and became boring towards the end. Met some crazy people over the years though that originated in IRC. |
