Question Is it wrong that I feel bad for NOT getting a response from one of these scams? I answered the ad on Craigslist, but due to my history with bots and scams, I did not send any important info(phone number,cc info,ssn,current address) about myself, nor did I sign up for any accounts. Also I have many email accounts, so that if I do start getting spam, I can just leave that email in the dust. | | |

They are now using "rental verified." Saw a posting on craigslist that seemed to good to be true -- low rent, lots of space, pet-friendly. So contacted them with some questions.
The thing that got me at first was that they offered to meet me tomorrow morning. Then I tried to look up the listing again, and craigslist said it had been "flagged for removal." Glad I searched for info about rental verified and found this forum before I completed the background check.

This thread shows up on Google as the #2 link when searching "Rental Verified" (without quotes). Interestingly, it's not on the first page of Bing at all, it's way down on page 2.
