<description><![CDATA[anon posted : the old rule of thumb for fullframe n film cameras was that the sun or moon with a 2400 mm lens would fill the 24 mm dimension of a 24 x36 full frame.<br><br>so a 1200 mm lens would fill half the frame.  etc.<br><br>sensors smaller than fullframe fill with smaller focal lengths.<br><br>it.s a challenge to get both infinite far and near in focus. so expect to be using f22 f32 f45 f64 etc]]></description>
