Called Cox and they are telling me that they have a DNS issue, but what does that have to do with DHCP Ip adddress's |

BryanInPHXPremium join:2001-03-06 Phoenix, AZ kudos:2 1 edit | reply to BryanInPHX Thanks, that server sits on the Cox network in LA, CA, I used it to determine sustained download speeds in the past.
Any recommendations to test large file downloads? |
|
 | Well its possible a routing issue between me and that server. I just know I can download at around 13MB's, and I couldn't even download at 1MB's on that file. |
|
 | reply to BryanInPHX Still getting the same old 25/5 premier speeds in Gilbert. |

Azlen join:2010-05-03 Peoria, AZ | reply to BryanInPHX I had the faster speeds earlier today but tonight it's back down to where it was yesterday. Sounds like it's a known issue. Not shocked that there are a few bumps in the road on the first day. It happens. |

Interesting they only quote Powerboost speeds! makes it look better than what the config file settings are. unless i missed something i think all rez packages upload cap out at 5mbps or less. -- Despises any post with strings. |

 | reply to BryanInPHX I'm seeing about 1MB/s higher in Ahwatukee with essential. It used to peak about 2.1MB/s. I'm seeing a steam download peak at 3.2MB/s and mostly it is around 3.0. I have a SB6120. |

I'm afraid to call Cox and bug them. I see the second channel in the bonding has high correctables/uncorrectables. |

Well I bought an SB6141 and I had Cox provision it this morning. Only took a 9 minute phone call. The tech was very helpful and the process couldn't be any easier.
The lower speedtests are using my SB6120. |
