Question about /target on Mint

I just installed Mint 14 on here to try out on the desktop and I'm finding out that my / is filling up, but that the system automatically allocated the bulk of the space to /target.

Can I nuke /target and add it to / ?

You mean that you have a directory called /target?

I'd imagine the installer has made a mess of things. IIRC /target is used while the system is installing but it should be removed after installation has finished.

Thanks. I'll probably re-install and tell it to use LVM because that's what I'm familiar with in the sys admin world. All this GUI stuff is foreign to me.
