Re: [LA] Cox LA Network Upgrades Soon? said by SlashG42:5GB/mo isn't it? You could blow through your entire monthly cap in less than half an hour.
30-70ms first hop LTE latency is great too.
LTE isn't much better than satellite once yo look at cap and latency numbers. Latency is important, yes. But that isn't bad for a mobile wireless signal...at all. I'd still prefer a dedicated line into my house though. |

 | reply to WASD John So, I noticed a Cox billboard driving on Pontchartrain Expressway today. It clearly stated that our speeds have increased. I was getting on from St. Charles heading west toward Metry.
Anyone else see this? Preemptive strike or just normal Cox NOLA treatment for their customers? |

 | Still nothing in 70002 Metairie. Don't know if I should be whining about being last or glad that others are the guinea pigs. :P |

anyone seeing upstream bonding now ? in new orleans market on the westbank ? I think most, if not all of the upgrades, have been done within New Orleans city limits. Still waiting out here in Kenner to get this speed increase that I've been paying for since January. |

 | Hello, I am on Cox here in San Diego. I am on ultimate speed. I just noticed that here I now have 4 bonded channels for upload and download. But no chance in speed yet. I hope to have that 151mpbs that I saw for Louisiana . he he he |

 | reply to Van Yup, double checked the sign this week. Definitely says our speeds have increased.
And I just saw the same billboard in Baton Rouge last night on Nicholson Dr. |

 Broadmoor |
Here's what I have in Broadmoor. Recently upgraded to the SB6141 which drastically improved my shady connections at peak hours. The three upload channels have been there since day 1 of this modem.
I'm on Preferred internet, but my Speedtest.net have been 15/20 with some peaks of 20/20 since the new modem. |

 | reply to WASD John Has anyone in Metairie seen an upgrade yet? |

 | Not me but they told me a month ago it would be in mid March. Guess not. |
