Create a system restore point, then install the latest driver. It's been available since last March and no problems reported. IF, you get any issues related to the new driver, then restore your system from the restore you created.
The "browser" in this case is a feature in most recent Windows OS's. It pertains to finding/providing network resources on a LAN. There can be only one master browser on a lan at a time.
