Dara Mactire RBG leader banned for win trading.

I don't pvp at all, so I literally don't understand anything you just said.

However, based on the thread title I'm assuming win trading is sort of a "I let you beat me, then you let me beat you" thing?

If so, that's lame and he should be banned.

What's the advantage to that anyway? Wouldnt you only have a 50% victory rate?

Unless 50% is good for pvp....

Again, not a pvp'er so.... *shrug*

Win trading allows people at the 2400+ ratings to cap like 3k+ conquest. Pretty much you can gear full malev in 3 weeks or so. So yeah, he needs to stay banned. It's people like that that ruin MMO experiences.

There are a ton of people that got banned, there are still a ton that havent... A lot of the names that did get banned were the clowns that were streaming while selling people rating for RL Cash and streaming while tlaking aobut how easy they can carry people and they can get you Hero of the Alliance in a day.

Bailamos used the method ot sell carries while streaming as did Antheny. Takes a special breed to stream exploits, but whats funny is I looked yesterday and only ANtheny's warrior was reset, but his rogue is still 2500ish.. His twitch page said something like *BANNED, no worries son carries for days PM my twitch box for prices* ...

Its the same exploit people were using in arena this season and were subsiquently banned for. It involved 2 teams to have a memebr go offline after queing to pause their que so to say, then log in simultaneously 5-7 min later and because they had waited in q so long during low queue times they would be matched.. Team A joins, tema B take q and alt F4's.. team b wouldnt lose rating and team A would lose the next game in the same manner...

Used to be a ton of people in Warhammer Online that would "win trade" in duel type scenarios to power level their toons RvR rank.

You'd get with someone from the opposite faction who was a higher rank than you, and they'd let you kill them over and over again. It was a really simple way to quickly up your RvR rank and be eligible (or get drops) for high level gear.

They got banned, too. And rightfully so. It's an exploit that gives someone an unfair advantage over the general populace.

The rumor is that supposedly all the 2400+ rated teams got banned. That actually included reckful in that, but according to his armory profile, his rating is unchanged.

I just heard him say on twitch that he was benched...so maybe he wasn't on the team in question.

Also, he's playing his warrior as his main right now (Anticide), in case there was any confusion.

According to DM, he got banned for an archy bot. So more than likely just a temp ban for him. I can understand that if you didn't have any knowledge that it was happening, you shouldn't be banned. But honetsly Bailamos should be perma banned. Exploiting is exploiting. No matter which way you cut it. Why cheat at a game a ruin the fun factor.

You could ask Lance Armstrong that.

Last I recall he only does RBG's like 1 a week to capp rating since RBG is easiest 3k conq cap. Pretty sure the last 2 times I have seen reckful stream RBG's it was a Tich trade pug.

Also, it amazes me how ignorant the majority of the community is to win traders, actin glike this is something new. This has been rampant since tail end of S10 and Really I'm certain the only reason it is actually being taken care of was some derp on OwnedCore forums posted a How 2 Video of exactly how to do it. This resulted in LF Win trade group forum posts as well as IRC channels purely for Win Trade.

Then again I assume most people dont follow exploit forums, but I usally check them atleast once a week so I know what shenanigans to look out for. Gotta know what to report in tickets

Pft I use deer antler sray on my rogue.. Still not enough to combat the lack of 1251515152151521 pvp power I'm missing fromlate start no weapons curve.

I get my antler spray from immer's druid. He exports it to Bleeding Hollow for me. I'm thinking of setting up an illegal smuggling ring and starting a shop to sell the stuff out of a shed outback of the Tavern in the Mists...I just gotta start - and subsequently retire from my male stripping career first.

I just think its utterly stupid to win trade/exploit a video game. You take all the challenge out of it. The punishment shouldn't be a ban. The must complete Super Mario: The Lost Levels without dying once.
