| Bryant, I personally think as much as you have drove the couple NV cox guy's crazy on here. They are probably messing with ya :P j/k though. Knowing you, you have probably already tried hard resetting the modem, to see if it would pick up maybe a new config correct? |

yes i did a hard reset on my modem several times Well maybe the update hasn't fully spread yet. I know when they updated ultimate in my market, the new speed's took effect the 1st of last november. So it may kick in tomorrow, either way I know NV cox guy's look over the forum's, and probably know your modem's mac address by heart. Which I am sure if there is a problem they will correct it, and get you right. Are you a ultimate tier customer? |

 | My modem rebooted on its own last night, I rebooted again this morning for good measure however my downstream on premier has not changed at 27mb but my upstream is testing at 11mb, so I am sure I have the new config file. SB6120 showing 4 downstream channels and 2 upstream channels locked. Is this right?

1 edit | yep same here i am on the premier tier with a d3 8x4 modem
 |
|
 | reply to bryant313 Mine is pretty much the same as the last two, ~27 down, ~11 up on a SB6180 with 8 channels down and 2 up.
Modem rebooted last night by itself:
2013-01-31 00:52:05 3-Critical 7954.20 Resetting the cable modem due to docsDevResetNow
I haven't had a chance to reboot it again manually but I'll try in a bit and see if it makes a difference. Not a huge deal, I'm sure it'll work itself out in a few days. |
|
 | i was told i was not able to get my speed increase due to my packet loss issue that has been going for a week now
i think that is not true however but i will see what happens after my tech visit today |
