[WIN8] need to delete a active System partition

I am running window 8 pro. For the last couple of days I been trying to install a back up copy of windows to a new hard drive. The old hard was a 60 GB ssd. The new Drive is a 128GB ssd. That plan did not work out to well. I just did a reformat and install to the new drive. I was doing some arranging of drive letters when I came across this. My main drive is C. In the disk management disk d has system active primary partition. I can not delete format or any thing to that drive. How can I get this drive deleted? There nothing on the drive. This drive is partitioned into 3 drive with a 195GB of free space.

Make another partition the active partition, then it no longer will be the active drive.
