| Owned several. But the one I keep is a UG8 stand that I won at a CB Break in the 70s. Added a TU Kit to it to bring my station up to "Big Strap" standards.
Then I swapped the cord for a blue cord from a dead Turner M+2.
Highlight of tacky was an old telephone bell mounted to the back of the D104 head and a piece of RG8X center conductor taped to the switch bar that ended in a ball of solder for a fake Browning Eagle *PING* every time I keyed it up. |
