Cisco WAAS question

I was thinking of getting a NME-WAE but i've read you can't do "windows on Waas" on a NME-wae.

anyone know what is possible? I was thinking of something like a small linux firewall on a wae to provide UPNP services to my entertainment vlan.

If it were for a production setup then ya, I love me riverbed.

but this is just an idea I'm messing with for home use. (IE aiming for lower cost.)

Riverbed do rock for wan acceleration.
