Re: [Speed] Speed increase. said by mrschultz02:I'm on performance, was 16/2 with powerboost to 24/4.
Can't be sure but it looks like powerboost is gone for me now, or it's only a small boost. I can be sure it's gone for uploads, uploads now go to 4 and sit there. I haven't been able to get a sustained download speed for a large file today, it's been jumping between 12 and 22, but spending most of the time between 18 and 22, so I think it is averaging out to around 20. I got that letter too and am getting sustained speeds of about 20/4.5 with no Powerboost present:

1 edit | That's a test site I haven't seen before, I'm getting even higher numbers on that test 23.8 down and 4.8 up:

Edit: just noticed I flipped up and down.... |

1 edit | reply to Linklist Cool site.....Thanks for posting it. I wonder if Comcast is rolling out another speed increase in other markets too? I am already on the 50/5 plan which is working great. More to come? We'll see. Good for you guys in PA & DC!

Doesn't need flash or Java: »www.bandwidthplace.com/ -- A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. | Wow...maybe my connection doesn't like HTML test sites...my speeds were really bad. The server was in DC and I posted a 11 d and 5 up. :-( Anyway, thanks for the new site. I'll try them again later tonight. |
