Re: [Speed] Paying for 20, getting 3... slooooow speeds in Lexin A couple months ago all of the 10.0 services were upgrade to 15mbps (after TWC bought Insight). What's strange is that most of the techs and/or phone monkeys still don't realize the upgrade took place. Any time I have a conversation with an Insight employee, they try to up sell me from "10.0 to 20.0 for only $10 more!".
I inform them that 10.0 is now 15.0, and upgrading to 20.0 is not such a good deal anymore. They always shrug it off and say they have no idea.
In short, you could save yourself some money by dropping the 20.0 package. |

I'm currently paying $14 extra a month for the 20.0 upgrade. My monthly bill (20.0 + TV/DVR, HD Package) is nearing $150 a month. About 2 years ago, I was paying $105-$110ish a month.
Have been toying with canceling TV as a whole, as it make people in the house lazy.  |
