Still having issues here its odd because some sites seem fine yet others that are accessible via 3G connectivity are not (dslreports as an example will not load while on cable)

this outage is not anyway to do business....my advice..go with the data centre business. a ton of less employees the softeare watches things and you just have to look at the writing on the wall....

Because TekSavvy is the only ISP to ever suffer an outage right? Please.

Not really sure what you're trying to suggest when mentioning a data center, are you insinuating Rogers build a data center at every single POI where the feed in the fibre and coax into nodes? That's like asking Bell to build a data centre where ever there's DSLAM.

Ahh, I can connect to GMail and my ventrilo servers again.

If I can ask, what caused the delay in bringing the POI back up to normal operation?

We had to wait for Rogers to re-route some traffic which took some time.

Oh joy, re-routing traffic for half the city must've been fun for the lucky network admin tasked to do it.. Hopefully most of it is done with dynamic and not static. Reconfiguring static routes would explain the long time though lol.

Recently less then an hour ago i keep loosing connection and it comes back why is this happening?
