| [Embarq] Slow in KC CenturyLink here is falling apart. The latency is high 500ms and up. The download speed is slow 2.5mbs and lower on a 10mb connection.
VPN's won't work with this latency adn jitter. You timeouts and the tunnel goes down and has to be rebuilt.
I can switch at work to TW but at home I am stuck. My only hope is that enough customers who can will jump ship that it will get better. From reading on this forum I think the over subscription is so bad and widespread they can't put enough cash and equipment in to solve the problem in a reasonable amount of time.
The timing of the problem lead me to believe a lot of people got smart tv's at Christmas. |
