Consistantly losing my internet connection?

Since upgrading my computer and Bell package in August, I have been consistently losing my internet connection. I have a windows 7 Dell computer and am on the Bell 15/10 package with a Sagemcom 2864 router/modem. When I look in my event logs, I see the error message "Name resolution for the name wpad.home timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded." I also get the error message "Realtec PCIe GBE Family Controller is disconnected from the network." A reboot of the Sagemcom 2864 solves the problem but the frequency which this is happening is annoying. Any permanent fixes. Thank you.

i had the same issue and i pinned it to the Wifi. try disabling wifi for a few days and see how it goes.

i ended up getting an AP for wifi connections, since then i haven't had one issue.

cheers

Do you still have problem if you run a network cable from the Sagemcom to the computer? Turn off the wireless connection when you try this otherwise your computer will get 2 IPs.
