Re: Squirrels destroying my Cedar - Help Squirrels are nothing but rats that live in trees. Sure, they're "cute" and sometimes fun to watch, but they're destructive little buggers and nearly impossible to keep out of your yard. Think "herding cats". You cannot eradicate them. All you can do is discourage them a little. Bird feeders are a huge attraction for them.
If you know someone with an indoor cat, you might try asking for used litter box contents. Cat urine is pretty much a "no trespassing" sign for most squirrels.
