1 edit | [CenturyTel] Issues in Billings, MT We've been having some seriously strange issues. The dial-tone works, but the DSL modem won't connect. Then it connects and gives us rather incredibly slow speeds. I just started yesterday.
..not to mention the readings are seriously strange. Are they working on the DSLAM here or did it just decide to go rogue? |

Yep. Still having some strange issues. I am still suspecting our rather crappy lines and a really old (80's) hookup box that looks like it's had the crap kicked out of it. It's public housing, so it doesn't surprise me.
Everyone is getting rather ticked here with the issues, so we're thinking of pooling together, getting a 30x5 from Optimum, and me setting up a public AP w/MAC filtering (or authentication). My network is already capable of it, I just haven't done it yet.
