There is no difference in modem reliability between +10, 0, and yes even -10 as long as the signal is clean.

Buffalo is upgrading for upstream bonding, one cmts at a time.

interesting the Dallas cluster got upstream bonding enabled by just rebooting the modems as they configured it and let modems lock on to all 4 channels after a reboot and then there was a global reboot that got everyone with a D3.0 modem upstream bonding. It helped that North Texas had already enabled 4 upstreams that were not bonded just needed to reconfigure the CMTS config files to allow for upstream bonding.
