I think "scam" is an overstatement -- the ATV2 clearly is of higher value than the ATV3 in certain markets.

Which is why I said scam. Many don't realize that the ATV2 is much better to buy than the ATV3, and they might think it a great deal to upgrade to a unit that can do 1080. Which I suppose it is, if you're not jailbreaking.
