[WIN7] Don't like the ALL CAPS MENU in Office? Change it.If you don't like the ALL CAPS MENU in Office 2013 you can easily change it. 1. Right click on the Ribbon 2. Select Customize the Ribbon... 3. In the Main Tabs section select each of the Ribbon Tabs and click the Rename Button. 4. Here is the key: You have to have a space after the end of the name. Example HOME would be Home with a space after the e. If you simply just type Home it will still be all CAPS when you exit the Office app you changed and re-start. Putting a space after the name will cause it stay in Proper Case. See Attached pictures. |

Is that something you select during the initial installation? I checked both of our machines and neither one has ALL CAPS on any of the menu items. |

Good tip. Only the menu header names are capitalized by default, all other menu items are lower case. |

Oh, boy... They intentionally make it worse and worse with every new version. Please tell me why all caps anyhow better than old well readable menu, we all used to? I bet in next version they will remove ability to use Alt+F key to invoke File menu too... It looks like they've already removed underscore of " F" character there. It's pity to watch step-by-step degradation of this good product... |
