Re: [WIN8] Windows 8 Review I've been using Windows 8 for a few days now, and I can see how first impressions on a non-touchscreen device would present a "what kind of crap is this" reaction. But looking at it from a touchscreen-enabled perspective... I actually see some impressive work, maybe even brilliance. Nothing is perfect, but this is a bold step in the right direction with solid roots still in a standard MS operating environment (desktop). Eventually, with touchscreen capability, a desktop environment will fade as a primary need.
Personally, I like it. I'm already thinking about how a touchscreen laptop or tablet would really make this OS complete.. So maybe it's cause enough to upgrade...  |
