Extra bonus: do it in an app with auto-restore enabled (like TextEdit), and the app can get stuck in an infinite loop of crashing and restarting.
Ultra bonus: send the problematic 8 characters as an iMessage to a Mac user and it will crash their Messages app.

Maybe a little amusing but I'm having a hard time seeing this as a good thing in any way,.....
