| Total was 1.76 - I mentioned rounding down to 1.75 due to no penny and the whole BOC change. Confused teenager blank look.
Didn't want to argue over a penny, gave $1.80, got $0.10 given change. -- AFK: Attack, fight, kill!! The healer is telling you to go pull mobs. WTF: Way to fight! The healer is applauding your tactical genius |

Until they reprogram the computers with new prices and new tax calculations and new change calculations you will continue to see this mess. -- A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. You can blame calculators for that. Just ask a young person to multiply two long numbers together. That's the REAL shame in all of this - unwittingly exposing some of these workers who should never have been hired unless they had passed a basic arithmetic skills test.
Now THERE's a way for employers to thin the pack when there are so many extra applicants for jobs in general these days (but especially in retail).
Make them pass a MATH test ! --

Hey, I wasn't even asking (above) for multiplication in that test - just addition & subtraction.
Well, OK - maybe enough multiplying to figure out the tax on something. |
