I was a diehard 17" fan until I got my new 15" retina macbook pro.
Let me ask you this then,......
If Apple made a 17" retina MacBook Pro, would you then be a diehard fan of that,....?
I would consider it heavily for my next machine. I usually trade up every 2-3 years so it could happen. Although I'd really like a retina 27" display first.
