[Mozilla] Firefox 18.0.2

Firefox 18.0.2 has been spun to remedy (primarily) bug 806820 and crashes related to Facebook.

Contrary to some sites offering a final release, Candidate build has not moved to the release servers yet.

Look for 18.0.2 soon: »www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

Look for release notes : »www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/18···senotes/ (for additional changes added to 18.0/18.0.1 release notes.)

It's not even on Mozilla's FTP yet as of the time of this posting.

Yes it is. Directory created in releases at 5:15 this afternoon. Oops...yes, folders are there, but still empty.

Yes, well it is in the Releases directory now anyway. I am running 19 beta 4 on one pc, and 18 on the other, so it is time to fire up the laptop and get 18.0.2 installed.

Should be on the FTP now as I just saw it there but will wait via normal channels.

I went to the main Mozilla page, and went to download firefox.

As of this post, I'm still being offered 18.0.1, instead of 18.0.2.

Because it hasn't been officially released yet?

That said you can go to unmentionable but public place and either download the full installer or an update (MAR) file.

Or you can wait.

I just got it as well and I don't think it fixed the font rendering error.

Not busted, just not posted before release -the link to release notes is active now.

Same as: All languages/systems downloads now available - »www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

You did make a remark that the release notes (current) would not be up until the official release, it's now working, I looked when you posted it - the link broke aka it pointed at the older release notes.

Of which, is all academic now. It irks me when some post the US | UK download link, which you don't - folks outside of the UK & US don't run FF ?

For those that choose a custom browsing history setting, one should de-select the accept third party cookies setting unless you implicitly want this setting although I would not know why one would want to accept third party cookies from websites. The Custom History Panel below illustrates how to manage these settings.
»support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/set···-history
Some have observed when updating FF, this setting has a tendency to revert to accepting third party cookies.

I was finally able to get Iceweasel 18.0.2 from Debian experimental repository, this morning. It's looking good.

I've been having problems with 18.0 printing to Adobe X. It keeps crashing FF but it will work after the initial crash. I did try the turning off the Nvidia in Add-ons but that didn't work.
