Hi folks, The Thomson modem dcm-475 has air vents on all 3 sides (top and both sides). Would there be an over-heating issue if I placed it on its side so that it takes up less space? Thanks
Mine has a strong heat point underneath, I made some minor modifications to help the air circulation under it. I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually cooler in a upright position, although I didn't find a way to safely do this. Touch under it right before putting it upright, then do it again after a few hours, and you'll know. And don't forget to post a picture!
