Unlock the phone BEFORE you plug in the USB. Watch the prompts during JB and it will tell you to unlock the screen when the time comes.

As for jailbreaking, yes you should verify with your employer. My employer will now allow Good for Enterprise work if your device is rooted or jailbroken. |
